An American company commissioned a new board as the central unit of a weather instrument. Obviously the low power consumption (had to be powered by batteries and solar panel) was one of the most stringent requirements.

In addition to maintaining a Real Time Clock (RTC) to manage a clock and a calendar. In addition, the client asked us to also add a uSD-CARD memory reader for the event log.
The main objective of the board was to acquire meteorological signals, memorize them and supply them on request through the communication interfaces provided. The customer then owned a server on the internet that acquired the data from the control units and made them available to their subscribed customers.
